So I'm going to give a brief description of what my lawn looks like.

7/7
I got done with work last night and was going to mow my lawn. Turn onto my street and it starts to rain.

If you're not from NY you don't know the weather we've had...can't get anything done outside.

7/8
Pull into driveway and head straight to the shed.
Start mowing lawn...
Tire comes off wheel!
Starts to rain...
Rain stops...
Go to Napa to get tube...they don't have it.
Rain starts pouring down!
Go to another store...closed!
Rain clears up!
ARGH!

That is too funny..
I was out mowing my lawn until 9p last week because it was the first day in a long time that it hadn't rained and my lawn looked like it hadn't seen a mower blade in months.

You might as well let it go a little longer so it can reseed itself

Pull out those Dandelions though

Why don't you just get some sheep/cows/goats and let them graze. Then the job is done. ;)

Don't get sheep, they tear the grass up by the roots. Cows...too big and messy and very picky, they won't touch the weeds. Now goats will do a very nice job on your lawn, just don't let them get loose because they'll eat the plastic off your X.:D

And I wonder why DaggerDoggie is so well versed in the grazing habits of farm animals. :)
